Welcome to Kerdos! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kerdos software, website, and services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Lemme Think LLC dba Kerdos ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1. Account Creation & Responsibilities
—Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use Kerdos.
—Account Security: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
—Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information updated.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
—Billing: Kerdos is a subscription-based service. By selecting a paid tier, you agree to pay the monthly or annual subscription fees indicated at the time of purchase.
—Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing cycle.
—Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current paid billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for canceled subscriptions.
3. User Data and Content
—Your Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the data, metrics, material costs, and business information you input into Kerdos ("User Content").
—Our Access: We do not claim ownership of your User Content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing Kerdos to you.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Kerdos to:
- blockViolate any local, state, national, or international laws.
- blockReverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- blockInterfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Service.
- blockAttempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
5. Limitation of Liability & "Not Financial Advice" Disclaimer
—Tool, Not an Accountant: Kerdos is designed to provide mathematical calculations, estimates, and automated ledgers based on the data you input. We are not certified public accountants (CPAs) or financial advisors. The reports and P&L statements generated by Kerdos are for informational and internal management purposes only.
—No Guarantee: We do not guarantee the accuracy of your tax liabilities, profit margins, or business success. You are solely responsible for verifying your financial data with a qualified professional before making business or tax decisions.
—Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lemme Think LLC dba Kerdos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Kerdos at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that harms our platform or other users.
7. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice in the Kerdos dashboard. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
